Refollow Helps You Bulk Manage Your Twitter Network

Refollow is yet another online Twitter app which allows you to manage your followers/friends. Like Tweepular, it allows you to bulk follow, unfollow and block user with two clicks and its very easy to use. It helps you filter your Twitter friends to find the ones that are following you, the ones you are following as well as the ones that are not following you and the ones you are not following.

All this means that you can follow back users who are following you or drop users who don’t follow you back…especially if you think having mutual follow friendships is important. In any case, it can also allow you to enter another Twitter username and see which of their followers are following you and who you are following as well.

But Refollow goes beyond just managing your own friends. You can easily see the users which are followed by any specific user. It’s an interesting way to find new people with similar interests. Instead of clicking around on many profiles, you can just enter in usernames and work from there to follow people they follow or follow their followers.

Refollow uses Oauth, so you don’t need to give them your password, all you need to do is to sign in through twitter. It also uses the API which means there is a limit to the number of people you can follow or unfollow at once. The API limit can be seen at the bottom of the screen. Most likely you will have to run this tool in batches if you want to manage/follow/unfollow a lot of users.

Tweepular is a tool that allows you to get some statistics about your Twitter network. For example, it shows you the twitter users who are not following or your mutual Twitter friends. By looking at the list of profiles and you then click and select them in order to bulk follow or unfollow all these users.

All in all, its a convenient way to manage your Twitter friend network. It’s quick and easy to use although they still require your username and password. Let’s hope they implment OAuth protocol soon (like other Twitter apps) so you don’t have to give out your password in order to use it.

How to Easily Read All Your Twitter Friend Updates

Ever wanted to easily find out what all your Twitter friends are doing right now? It would be great if there was a way to scan through updates and see what’s happening with a glance.

Now you can with Twitter for Busy People, a simple web-based tool that arranges all your Twitter friends in a grid format so you can easily mouse over and check out what their latest updates are. Just move your mouse over the avatar and it’ll pop-up in a box with a ‘read more’ option so you can actually see more updates without leaving the page.

Just enter your username (no need for password) and you’re good to go. I found this quite useful and it is indeed a faster way to know whats going on with all your Twitter friends, instead of clicking to their profiles or reading all their twitter RSS feeds. Qwitter: Find Out Who Unfollows You on Twitter

Qwitter is a very simple free tool which sends you an email when someone stops following you on Twitter. It even gives you the exact tweet which might have possibly caused you to be unfollow. Just enter your username and email to get set up. No need for passwords.

I think you should probably take this with a pinch of salt because its really very difficult to determine why someone has unfollowed you (except when you ask them directly). The exact moment after they unfollow could be based on several reasons, some of them unrelated to specific tweet.

Friendorfollow is a very simple Twitter web-based tool which does a few things: find out how many people are not following you back. As well as who is following you but aren’t being followed by you. You can then sort them according factors like Name, Location, Followers and even account age.

The best thing about it? You don’t need to log in or give away your password. Just enter your username and you’re done. It’s the fastest way to check who is not following you back.
