Malware propagate for camouflaged Twitter of “It’s you on photo?”
If you are a Twitter user should be careful about a new malware is using Twitter to spread through a shortened URL that is accompanied by the following messages: “It’s you on photo”, “It’s about you?”. This link sends you to various Russian websites which try to infect computers using Windows with the Blackhole exploit kit.
It is no secret that these attacks on social networks are very common because those who create these malware realized that users of social networks are a little novice in the world of the Internet and if you send them interesting messages, they will click on the link without thinking second times.
This new attack is already being detected by some antivirus including Sophos which detects an infected URL link as “Troj/JSRedir-HY”.
