Twitter launches Twitter University to train engineers with the best tools and techniques available
After working for several months with the company Marakana, specializing in organizing Open Source trainings, Twitter decided to buy the same and in turn launch Twitter University.
With this release the goal of Twitter is to assist in the training of engineers and that they in turn can educate others, with the best tools and techniques available.
According to the announcement on Twitter on blog:
As Twitter has grown, so has our engineering organization. To help our engineers to grow, it is important that they have access to world-class technical training, along with the opportunity to teach the skills they have learned. To do this, we created the Twitter University.
Twitter University is exclusively for the personal Twitter, but the company says it will continue to contribute to Open Source software, so that in the future offered online, some of the material from the University for the general public who is interested in learning.
