Tumblr removes the option to find friends on Twitter

Tumblr has removed to Twitter as a source to find friends due to restrictions imposed to its API, which announced a few days ago, a decision that has been in a bad mood to multiple developers.

The user of Tumblr is very disappointed with the action taken by Twitter that did not take into account the past, and relations between the two companies.

Tumblr said in a statement that Twitter has restricted the ability of users to find friends in its platform and added that they are upset because of the history they have with Twitter.

Of course the Twitter ecosystem is increasingly closing more and something that was a mainstay in the growth of this network of information, as were third-party applications and platforms like Tumblr, apparently are no longer in the “plans of Twitter”.
